Am I missing something?
I needed to preform a detailed list of my customers PCs and locations. I have GPT Plus, started a new project and put chat into work mode. I told chat what I was trying to accomplish and it started asking for information and proving feed back. I uploaded detailed excels with the PC information per site as it ask. ChatsGPT started providing feed back and making connections and conclusion. I was feeling really good and continued to give more details and facts which ChatGPT acknowledge and commented on. After a while of great conversation, I called it a night. Trying to sleep on the production high was struggling. So, I pulled out my phone and opened the project I created on my computer, to provide a few last minute details. ChatGPT responses seemed a bit off and a little confused. Then, I asked ChatGPT what else it would need to complete the project which, ChatGPT responded “I will need EXCELS FOR EACH SITE!” I replied, “you have that information already.” ChatGPT was like “yes, I do.” The next morning back at work, I open the project on my computer and ask for ChatGPT to generate the report we have been discussing. ChatGPT generates a report for some random business using public information online. Nothing was related to anything we discussed. I rephrase the question and tell it to use the data I proved. It thinks for a while and says there is no data to work off of for the report. If I ask it a single detailed question about the project it will answer and if I ask questions about information you can find on the excel it will respond saying it located the information on the excel. But for some reason after hour of inputting data and discussing the next day it cannot use any of it to create the report. I feel like I wasted hours of time for nothing.
