Hi, I'm a grad student on the east coast starting a postdoc at MSU in the fall. I have never been to East Lansing and I might not be able to visit in person before I rent an apartment, so I am hoping some of you can provide a local perspective on which areas/neighborhoods are commonly inhabited by postdocs, grad students, faculty etc? I'm primarily looking to be relatively close to campus, but I'm not really interested in living near undergrads (no offense). Any insight is appreciated!
