Some random memorabilia from throughout the years!

If you have questions about anything let me know!

1-2: Guitar picks (Both Hello Kittys and the one with the signature are Nick’s, the dream catcher one is Mike’s, not sure about the orange one).

3: AARmy dog tags - the silver ones are from 2006, I don’t remember when we got the others. And a random keychain.

4: Bracelets and the bottom two were to get into events.

5: AP magazines. Not sure if there are scans of these online but I can share the insides if anyone is interested.

6: TB4H and Tournado DVDs.

7: A few ticket stubs. I have more in a frame with ticket stubs from other bands. Signed laminate - Chris was not able to make this meet & greet.

8: Signed Zune mp3 player (kind of like an iPod) that I won in a Twitter livestream contest. I have videos of the guys announcing I won. Tyson totally butchered my name and Nick remembered me lol

9: Tag from Butter (Tyson’s short-lived clothing line), Soundcheck Party entry sticker thing (Tournado tour, 2006), mini magazine from Warped 2010 signed by Nick and Tyson.

10: CDs (two of them signed). My self-titled CD disappeared at some point and I haven’t bought the new one.

11: Setlist from Warped 2010. That “I <3 Nick” paper was stuck onto the setlist when I caught it, not sure who wrote that.

12: Poster from a tour with Taking Back Sunday.

13: More signed posters. This was from when WTWCD came out.

14: Another random WTWCD promo poster. The other one was from when they played at my college with Cobra Starship. I figured out the voting system allowed for unlimited votes so I’d like to believe my 1000s of votes got them booked 😆

15: Tournado zine type of thing. This thing is super cool! Not sure if there are scans of this online either but I’d love to share. I do not remember where I got this tbh.

16: Yet another signed poster lol.

17: A bunch of merch.

18: Comparison of my old AAR necklace vs. my new one they came out with.

19: One of my weirdest promo items - a mousepad. I kept it in a box for years and finally started using it for work recently.

I’m sure I have even more - I can share if I find anything else! I also have pictures from throughout the years I can definitely share. I’ve been to 17 shows and met them all quite a few times. They’re all super nice guys.

Young/New Fans

Curious if there are young/new fans here. I’ve been a fan since 2005 (I’m 33 now) and I’ve noticed a lot of other bands from the era have gained a new following of young fans (MCR, FOB, P!ATD, etc.) but I wasn’t sure if AAR did too.

I have so much “memorabilia” and photos from 2006-now and I’m wondering if it’s worth sharing some of it. I was a “toastie” on the message board back in the day.

Validation

I didn’t know where else to put this because I don’t really have anyone in my life to talk to about this and I just wanted to put this into words somewhere. But I had an appointment with my gynecologist yesterday and she said the most simultaneously validating and devastating sentence of all time to me:

“I know you have it, I just can’t prove it.”

I’m looking into options right now. It’s not showing on ultrasound or MRI. Not a single endometriosis specialist (of which there are few anyway) in my area accepts insurance.

I just needed to get her sentence out there for someone to hear because I’m sure a lot of people here can relate. That’s all I wanted to say. Thanks.

Short term memory

For anyone who experiences short-term memory loss, at what point did you start to get concerned?

My long-term memory seems to be fine, but my short-term memory seems to be getting worse. It’s especially bad when I have to remember a few things at once, like if I go to the store to pickup a few items I need, I can never recall everything. If I am asked to do two things, I can never remember both. I can be talking to my fiancé on the phone and he’ll tell me something and as soon as I hang up, I’ll forget what he said and have to call him back. I accidentally repeat stories and whatnot, not realizing I have already told people, which is a little embarrassing. It was a little funny at first but now I’m starting to get really concerned. I’m not sure if it’s related to my epilepsy itself or a side effect of my meds. I’d like to think it isn’t age related since I’m just shy of 33.

I take lamotrigine and levetiracetam and have been seizure free now for almost 4 years (as far as I know, I guess there’s always a chance of a sleep seizure).

Fuzzy feeling

Hi, I’m just curious if anyone else experiences the same thing as I do! I’m pretty adamant about taking my meds on time but I wouldn’t even be able to forget because my body gets this fuzzy feeling if I’m a little late taking them. The feeling goes away not long after I take my meds. I wouldn’t even describe it as tingly, more like fuzzy/static. This might be really specific but usually feel it in my bottom lip, and then head and chest.

I’ve always associated the feeling with that, being a bit late to take my meds. But every so often (including right now, which is why I thought of this), I get the same feeling randomly. I know I took my medication this morning. Yet, I still feel fuzzy. Anyone else or am I just weird?

IRS Form Letter 12C Not Received

Hi, I need help and would like advice. My fiancé and I submitted our taxes at the same time. Apparently when we mailed the paperwork, we left off our signatures somewhere and he received a notice in the mail called LTR12C requesting more information (aka the signature) which he had to complete and fax back. I am expecting this same letter since we sent ours the same way and in my IRS account online, it says they have sent me a letter that I need to complete and return.

Well, it’s been about a month and I have still not received this LTR12C. It said give it 2-3 weeks. I already checked and it’s not in the digital uploads section of my IRS account. I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone at the IRS over the phone to have this form resent but it’s been impossible to reach anyone. I got through one menu that asked for all of my tax information to verify me, the automated voice told me they sent me a letter, but then would still not allow me to speak to anyone or tell me what to do if I haven’t received it. When I try from the menu again, it will not accept any response I give them when I tell the automated voice what I need help with. I’ve tried asking in every possible way I can think of. I tried to call my local IRS office several times, but the line is always too busy and it re-directs me to the main IRS “help”line.

I’m literally at a loss of what to do. Literally all I need is this one form re-sent to me so I can complete my return but I can’t seem to find a way to get it.

Any advice on how to proceed or what prompts I can give to the automated voice to actually get through to a real person would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.
