Broke my wrist - torus fracture of the radius. Tips on how to treat rashes between fingers?

This is my first broken bone 😢 I wasn't attentive enough drying my fingers after washing them the first 2 days. I'm on day 3 and my fingers have developed a smelly red rash between each finger from the web up an inch or two (not near the tips). I got some antibacterial soap and have been properly drying them since this morning. I also have been applying hydrocortisone cream. I'm trying to keep the fingers apart now by wearing a glove, but now I feel like I can't rewear the [winter] gloves. I'm usually a very clean person, so this smelly development has been disturbing me all day.

Does anyone have any tips for better creams? Better ways to keep my fingers apart? My fingers aren't too incredibly swollen bc I've been keeping my hand up. It's just this rash.

Third Shot - Check-in

Hi all!! It's been a while since I made a post here. After my first initial shot, I ended up going through a brief medical episode (not related to the shot at all) and had to stop taking my tirz for 2.5 weeks. I'm now on my 3rd consecutive shot today (but my 4th one overall). I also notice there's 5 doses in my first vial, which is great news for me. Now I don't have to jump straight up to 4mg from the third shot. I'm on BPI for six months.

So, after my second shot, I did end up experiencing some common side effects; Constipation that has left me speechless 😂, mild nausea that never reached the point of vomiting (it was never that intense), and mild headaches that weren't necessarily painful, but were definitely uncomfortable and negatively impacted my day.

To combat the constipation, I've been drinking prune juice every day with a yogurt/chia pudding bowl. I also take a normal magnesium pill because it's what I had before I ever took these shots. I don't want to get into graphic detail, but I didn't pass stool for 8 days straight. I didn't take a stool softener at all, and am lucky that hemorrhoids weren't an issue afterwards.

For the nausea, I haven't really been able to do anything about it. I just took my third shot, so I won't be feeling the effects for another couple hours. What I can say is that it lasted about 4 days. The same thing happened with the headaches — they lasted about 4-5 days.

At the end of it all, this is just my experience. The medical episode I had has most certainly been affecting my body on top of the tirz shots. Honestly, I probably jumped the gun on taking the shots as quickly as I did. The episode left my immune system suppressed, so now I have oral thrush as a healthy young adult. It could be a contributor to my other symptoms and discomfort that I feel. Overall, I'm happy I'm taking the shots. I also finally started tracking my weight. Moving forward, I'll update every once in a while about my symptoms and progress, so see ya!!
