Allstate is a scam!!
My fiance and I just bought a 2023 Volkswagen Atlas while visiting Texas and drove it back home to Wisconsin. 5 days after the insurance policy took affect, my fiance turned a little too sharply at a gas station pump and dinged the rear quarter panel enough to cause $6000 worth of damage to the vehicle. After taking the vehicle to the local Allstate partner repair shop, Allstate contacted the shop telling them to halt all repairs accusing me and my fiance of committing insurance fraud. They are claiming the vehicle was damaged at the dealership before we bought the damn thing and want picture proof for what the car looked like before the collision. The dealership deleted all of their photographs after the sale citing no reason to waste hard drive space on a vehicle they no longer need to sell. Allstate has ignored all of my phone calls and voicemails for 5 days straight!!! I'm getting a lawyer and switching to Progressive!!!!
