I have inherited a lot of lovely bedding and towels from my mother in law.

The problem is she has always used highly fragranced powder and fabric conditioner.

I cannot for the life in me get the smell out. I've washed them three times at 60c with three rinses with (UK products) non biological persil with added oxyclean and tried vinegar as a rinse at the end. Still there.

I'm not sure what else to try. I'm pretty sensitive to fragrance and can easily wake up with hives and swollen eyes, so if I can't get it out I'll have to pass them on.

Any help welcome.
