Suggestions on how the make the 3 part on a 10cm doll

For context on the character on the doll, the 3 is actually his hair, like a topknot.

I was wondering if they was a good way to put the hair together on the head on such a small doll? I asked a commissioner and they said it wouldn't be possible to make the 3, so I might add it on myself.

For any plush makers, what can you recommend, sewing or making a sturdy flat piece? Should I also adjust the topknot for either process? The way I designed it was just bc I was basing it how it in in the show.

Note: I don't use minky since my first experience using it was a messy one.

Any way to make this 10cm pattern easier?

Hi, dropping by to ask for help.

So we all have seen the pattern and was wondering if there was a way to simplify the design. I sew by hand and I have a sewing machine but I'm a little concerned using it as the pedal has no pressure indication, meaning it can only go speed when on. I have no issue sewing by hand, but I'm sure you can imagine sewing the smaller pieces can be difficult.

Can any one suggest or even help out with the pattern, like helping make the body one pattern?

I know it would make it more stiffer, but I use fabric printed modern jersey from Spoonflower. I've used it before for dolls of this type and haven't seen any issues with how it handles being bent.
