Paperless-NGX: Database Exporter command on UGreenNAS

Hi I have a 4800+, with a Docker project for Paperless-NGX running. The last (not the latest Docker app update, I still haven't updated to that yet because of this previous issue) broke my Paperless container, as far as I could make out it lost permissions to write to the postgres folder in the paperless data folder.

I couldn't get it fixed myself and just remade the container which reset all the paperless settings/tags/storage paths etc. All the actual ingested documents were still fine and accessible in the nas. I only had a couple of hundred documents in the paperless system so it didn't take very long to set up the file syste, and tags etc again

So there's a way to backup the paperless database but it uses the command line and I haven't figured out how to use that properly yet on the UGreen

Now there's a new Docker app update and the Paperless container has an update pending and I'd like to try and get a backup of the paperless database done properly before updating either of those.

I found this thread here ( https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/vdvs7c/how_to_backup_paperlessngx/ ) where people were able to get it to work in both Unraid and Synology, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it with the Ugreen successfully. I've tried SSH into the Ugreen proper and trying the commands in the docker config folders for paperless, and the document storage folders. I also tried using the Terminal option in the individual paperless containers and still can't get the database exporter command to work.

Does anyone have any experience with this that could give me some steps on how to do this please? I'm not super savy with this stuff and tend not to tinker with the containers/settings once they're working

Any help/pointers would be very much appreciated
