Will my voice go back to normal?

If so, how long did it take for yours?

I had surgery about 3 weeks ago (partial thyroidectomy with no complications) and my voice hasn't gone back to normal yet. I still can't talk very loudly and I can't higher (??) my voice at all anymore. I wanna sing along to Ariana again 😭 My voice just can't do what I want it to anymore and it hurts to try.

Is this normal after surgery?

I had a partial 2 days ago. Ever since then I've been incredibly weak, dizzy, no appetite, sore, and in pain. If I want to move my head up, I have to grab it and physically move it. Same with my legs. I need help sitting up. It feels like a gang of people beat the crap out of me. I can't talk to my doctor until later, but I wanna know if I need to be worried and if not, how soon did it go away for you?
