Short-sighted killings.

There are so many characters who I think it was oh-so short-sighted to kill off.

Lucy Beale, Steven Beale, Michael Moon, Derek Branning, Bradley Branning, Abi Branning, Dennis Rickman, Dennis Rickman Jr, Tina Carter, Heather Trott, PAT BUTCHER, Danielle Jones, Ronnie Mitchell, Roxy Mitchell, James Branning...

Can you think of any you wish were, not even in the show right now, but who had the option to be brought back?

Instead of 5 and 6, should they just have made a spinoff franchise?

I still struggle with 5 and 6, because Billy's lovechild and his ghost/delusion, the "Core Four", little to no Sid, killing Dewey, leaving Woodsboro...it just never felt like Scream.

If they'd used the same universe, but in a different way, then great!

I'm actually wondering why they couldn't have gone down the "Stab" route...let's say the cast of the movies (obviously only the ones who survived or existed in films post 4). I'm not saying they would have got Tori or David (they probably ABSOLUTELY could have got Tori), but the stars of those films being targeted.

And then, if and when they decided to make a true Scream sequel, things wouldn't have needed to be lived with, like a dead Dewey :-(

Was Ronnie Mitchell the most tortured of all characters?

I've probably got the order of a couple of these wrong and please, mention any I've missed, but they TORTURED the woman...

Abandoned by her mother.

Raped by her father.

Forced to give up a baby at 14.

Told her baby had died, which is actually a vicious lie.

The love of your life cheats on you with your sister.

The love of your life gets your sister pregnant.

Sister calls her love child "Amy", which was your own daughter's name.

The love of your life gets your cousin pregnant.

Unknowingly take your daughter to abort your own grandchild.

Find out that the girl you had been treating like crap is actually your daughter.

Finally finding your daughter, only to see her mowed down in front of you 10 seconds later and have her die in your arms.

Miscarriage.

Your baby daddy is found murdered and buried in the Square.

No one believes you about being raped.

Your mother knew about the rape and did nothing.

Your baby dies of SIDS.

You live with the consequences of a psychotic break and try to raise another woman's baby.

You admit the truth and the book is thrown at you in court.

You get out of prison and your ex-husband is engaged.

Work as a cleaner in the club that was once yours, for another woman who is planning her wedding to the love of your life...and being a real cow about it.

You commit murder.

You see your sister dead/dying in a swimming pool.

You drown trying to save your sister.

If Roman only tracked down Maureen/Rina today...what would things be like?

It's 2026 and Maureen Prescott is still alive.

Maureen would be in her late 70's now and could absolutely still be putting it about. She might even have moved from father to son and be having an affair with Billy Loomis.

I don't think Neil would ever have divorced her, even if he'd found out about the affairs.

I don't see why Sid would have stopped thinking she didn't have the perfect mom, because Maureen loved her and was always there for her...but if the affairs came to light, then that could have been tricky. Sidney is now almost 50 herself though and I do think they would have worked through it.

So, if Roman turned up today and was still rejected...how would he have sought revenge against mom?

There is no "Good Twin", right?

The idea of a pair of Machiavellian Twins is...interesting on paper?

There's usually a good and a bad twin, but I can't say as I'm seeing either Jasmine or Josh as being good...even when compared to each other.

They really are both just horrible.

Was the Bajoran ritual of giving birth absolutely ridiculous?

For 50 years, Bajorans were lucky to have even been able to have children and their race survive, because they were being slaughtered, held in concentration camps, trapped behind ghetto fences, hiding in resistance cells, etc. So, being totally relaxed with chimes sounding and incense in the air...that might have been the way it was done pre-Cardassians, but a bit like the D'jarras and I don't think they would have changed from getting that baby delivered and just making sure it survived.

I don't know, maybe Kira was given a choice, from ancient traditional, to caesarean section, but it did strike me as strange.

In Enterprise...why not land the ship?

In TOS, the reason they invented the transporter is so the ship wouldn't have to land each week. That would have been too expensive and actually, would have slowed the pace of the show back then.

In Enterprise, they created the shuttle pods and decontamination...which I always found very tiresome and maybe it's just me, but not sexy at all.

What I would have found sexy though is seeing the NX (either in that design or a different one) landing. I used to love it when Voyager landed and it could have been oh-so good.

Does Ben Wadey hate Kat Slater being a "Total Slag"?

In the episode he's avoiding referencing like the plague, Kat Slater immortally said: "I didn't become a little bit of a slag. I became a total slag!"

So, if Ben Wadey refuses acknowledge the events of that episode (and I personally don't understand why, because it's just what Zoe needs), then a LOT of t-shirts, birthday cards and commemorative plates aren't going to make sense.

Mothers and their daughters' guys.

Cindy and Max got me thinking, because of course, Max was having an affair with Lucy and now he's dating/engaged to her mother.

Before that, Jack and Chelsea were dating and she even had a pregnancy scare by him and then Denise married him.

Before that, Carol was with Dan, although she didn't know he had been sleeping with the then 15 year old schoolgirl Bianca :-/

And before that, Grant and Louise Raymond slept together behind Tiffany's back.

I'll never forget what Jane Beale said..."Walford could get incestuous", but it still must be creepy as Hell sleeping with someone who knows what your daughter is like is bed.

How does Cindy see past Max's history with her own children?

Max was directly responsible for Steven's death. He was actually having an affair with Lucy, although I'm not sure if Cindy knows about that?

I honestly thought that maybe she was playing the long con and planning to destroy Max...well, that that would have been her plan, but she'd end up falling for him instead, but I'm not sure they're giving Cindy enough depth to seek revenge.

If she though really okay with him killing her son and sleeping with her daughter?

Alfie's first Cancer and how it was only resolved in a parallel universe.

Alfie was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2016 and although we didn't see the outcome of the surgery, he had surgery in Ireland during the events of "Redwater". When he and Kat returned to the Square in 2018, there was no mention of the Cancer.

Hayley mentioned Luke in the living room with Big Mo, Stacey, Martin and Jean, but no mention of Alfie's Cancer...and then he gets a second diagnosis of prostate Cancer in 2023. It was actually pretty peculiar, because he opened up to Phil about it both times.

They never mentioned what happened to the tumour in the main show though, because like Zoe's twin brother, it was introduced there, but not resolved there.

The Stab 3 poster that actually got released.

Tori Spelling and David Schwimmer refused to return. Sarah Darling, Angelina Tyler, Tyson Fox, Tom Prinze and Jennifer Jolie were murdered, but there was still a "Stab 3", so it had to have a cast.

Who would have been a better cast choice though?

Who was Altan Soong's mum and why not Juliana Tainer in his place?

I always thought it would have been so good if after Data died in Nemesis that a switch had gone off in Juliana and she realized who and what she really was and that SHE had been the instigator of the Androids.

Fionnula Flanagan is still going strong and I bet they could have got her to come onto the show.

Instead though, we've got a biological Soong, when the real Juliana is the only woman I can imagine Noonien having or wanting a child with.
