[F4F/F4A] Any Black/POC writers or POC-friendly writers out there? 🫶🏽
hey y’all! I’m 31F, and I live in the southwest US 🤠. I was pretty nervous to post this because I have digital stage fright, but after going back and forth about it for literal days, this post made it out the drafts. 💃🏽
I’m Black, and so are most of my OCs. Unfortunately, in the RP community it’s r e a l l y difficult to find people who are cool with that. 😭🥀 I’ve been dying for the opportunity to connect with other Black writers, or writers in general that are POC friendly without being offensive or weird about it. I’m more comfortable writing with other women, but I’m not totally closed off to writing with men! 21+ only, and even better if you’re in my age range (so like 25-35, lol).
As for what type of RP I’m looking for, I’m not big into any fandoms tbh, so OCxOC is my tried and true favorite. Modern/urban settings are my go-to, but I’m down for some fantasy or supernatural elements for extra flavor! If you’re into romance, with plenty of conflict, tension, and drama to keep things spicy, you’re exactly where you need to be. 🙂↕️
Also: I have a full-time WFH job and I’m in a long-term relationship, so I’m looking for writers who are patient and can handle the occasional delays. 🙏🏽
