Really enjoying this nature series!
We just happened across it at the library. My favorite is “A Rock is Lively” and my toddler’s favorite is “An Egg is Quiet.”

We discovered Oliver Jeffers a few months ago thanks to recommendations on this subreddit. His books are so whimsical and beautiful! Here are our favorite two so far. I love the transparent pages in “There’s a ghost in this house” in particular.
What are your favorite of his works?
I need to name a set of dolls for a kindergarten. I want to name them all relatively gender-neutral names so the kids can play with them freely (the dolls are pretty neutral looking) and we've decided on nature names as a theme. Need ideas! The kids will vote on the final list.
So far I have: Aster, Juniper, and Sage.
Edit: To make it a bit clearer - the names need to be nature-themed, like flowers, plants, stuff like that.
I saw a post on here recently about alphabet books. It was perfect timing because we’re reading a lot of these right now too and we got some great ideas from that post! Here are some current favorites.
We have been really enjoying illustrated poetry picture books. Here are some of our current favorite poetry books and anthologies. I would love more recommendations!
I got some great suggestions here recently for books about buses. These are the ones my toddler has particularly been loving!
