questions abt CAES1001 exemption

Hi all! I'm an incoming first year non-local undergrad and I'm wondering about how the application process for exemption from the English enhancement course works (both my ielts and igcse englang grade meets the requirements)

ppl I've asked from other faculties say they've received an email from their faculty with a form to fill out to apply for the exemption but I haven't received such an email (my home faculty is the faculty of arts). I didn't apply with IB either so I don't think the exemption would be granted to me automatically

Course selection opens in two hours. What should I do? should I email my faculty or wait, and should I add caes1001 in my course selection first then drop it during the add/drop period?

unrelated question but also does anyone know if it's possible to make it from Centennial Campus CPD-LG.08 to Centennial Campus CPD-LG.01 within 10 mins (what do those numbers mean?) bc if not I'm gonna have to rearrange my entire year1 timetable

thx!

should I take a gap year and reapply to Cambridge?

idk what's wrong with me but its been like half a year or something and I STILL can't get over my Cambridge rejection (it's not that I didn't totally warrant a rejection with my shit TMUA performance its just that I can't stop blaming myself for it), to the point where I still semi-regularly have nightmares surrounding it (just woke up from one) and seeing literally anything that reminds me of my Cambridge application can do anything from making me feel depressed/anxious for the rest of the day to giving me a mini-panic attack

It doesnt help that my parents brings up the topic every other day or something. TMUA was the only thing I prepared for this entire year (I didn't even properly prep for my A levels because of how depressed and anxious I was from the day I received my tmua results all the way until my A levels) and it was the one thing I flunked.

after getting my tmua results (and esp after receiving my rejection in January) ive just stopped being able to focus properly in school and genuinely could not bring myself to revise no matter what I tried. my mock grades plummeted from near-full marks to 30%s, and I just barely managed to get my shit together a week before my a levels to cram that. My mental health has became better since then (I think) but I still can't stop thinking about how I had one. job. to do this year and it was not flunk the tmua and I spent six whole months doing nothing but prep work for it and failed.

Should I take a gap year and reapply to Cambridge? I keep telling myself that my other options are fine but then I'd start comparing their syllabus with Cambrdge's and realise how big of a difference there is/how much I enjoyed the interviews and how much ive failed all over again.
