Parking on campus is such a scam

Like first they get rid of all the meters and force you to use the app which has an extra fee on every transaction even if I just want to park for 15 minutes, and then today I find out that you still have to pay for the meters on holidays?? The buses aren’t running today so driving is literally the only way for me to get to campus now… I get that you should charge for parking to reduce traffic and incentivize people to use transit but I LITERALLY CANT BECAUSE IT ISNT RUNNING TODAY 🥀🥀

The 4-way stop shuffle

I have a situation that keeps happening to me and am looking for advice on how to handle it better. Myself and another driver get to an all-way stop intersection at the same time, I wait to let them go first, they wait to let me go first, then both of us try to go at the same time because we each thought the other was letting us go, then we both slam on the brakes and are back at square one. I’ve tried to adjust my behavior by asserting my dominance and going first, but sometimes this backfires by angering the other driver who felt that they got to the intersection slightly before I did and that it should have been their turn first. I’ve tried correcting in the other direction, holding my ground and waiting for the other driver but sometimes this also backfires because they never go and end up having to wave me on. Does anyone have any advice about how to handle this? I feel like I’m good at driving defensively and controlling the vehicle, but I am really socially awkward so I end up in situations like this all the time.

ECE 210 lecture section availability

I failed ECE210 last semester and need to retake it in the fall otherwise I can't take any of my other ECE courses, but all of the lecture sections are full. There's still space in the lab sections but I can't sign up because you also have to sign up for a lecture section at the same time. I've been emailing my advisors and the professor but they haven't given me any helpful information. Does anyone know what I can do here so I can still graduate in 4 years? It's only the lecture sections that are full and half the people don't even show up to lecture so it's not like there are real space constraints
