Update: l Bought It!

l finally went back to that pawn shop and pulled the trigger on this beaut.

Now l finally got some time to take some up close pics of it and do a little research on it.

l found the same lighter for sale online from two different fake websites. The one listed here has the "Made In France" marking that looks significantly different than mine meanwhile this one which l know is also a scam website but l assume uses real stock photos has the "Made In France" marking that looks very comparable to mine.

Anyone able to help he authenticate it any further? l know my pics look bad and you can see some pretty significant scratches, but l did manage to get a photo of the underside of the gas cap which is yellow.

Pretty weird question, but how good is the pocket clip retention on the new Ultratech Gen 4's?

Im pretty picky when it comes to pocket clip retention on my knives and it's a real make-or-break factor for me.

Im the kind of guy who's so used to carrying a cold steel for years with how much pocket shredding retention the clips on those have on it and it provides me a big reassurance that Im not gonna lose my knife. I tried carrying a Spyderco for a couple of days and couldn't get over how easily it slid in and out of my pocket and it made me paranoid that I was gonna lose my +$200 knife especially with knowing how small and thin it was compared to my Cold Steel Voyager XL.

If Im gonna spend +$300 on a knife, I want that reassurance of knowing that the fucker is going to stay in my pocket and be kind of a hassle to pull out when the need arises.
