I’ve been to Japan four times. I applied for a multiple-entry visa on my 3rd and 4th visits, but I was rejected and given a single-entry visa instead. Can someone give me advice or tips on how to get approved for a multiple-entry visa?

No ITR since my employer is based abroad
Been to Hongkong, taiwan, sg, thailand and China
