I truly strongly dislike how American dating operates. You date around multiple people, have maybe even multiple “situationships”. Many primarily driven by only sex.

Honestly, what happened to going out with a person you genuinely find interesting and taking the time to know them without having a roster in the background.

I feel like we’re all becoming purposefully detached and desensitized to people and deeper connections because of our shortening attention spans and our lack of vulnerability.

Where did yearning go? Where did just wanting to find your person without swiping through multiple dating apps and talking to multiple people go?
