Fishing

Visiting Gulf Shores here in a few days (October) and hoping to get some fishing spots, both fresh and salt. I’ve never been ocean fishing and would like to try it out. I avidly fish freshwater in Ohio. I have a couple spots I plan on checking out already and would like opinions before committing, they are Lake Shelby Playground, Lagoon Pass and the Gulf State Park Pier. I plan on fishing wacky rigs and spinners in fresh and a pompano rig with shrimp in salt. Looking for any and all guidance!

What’s This Knot?

Decided to start using a leader and I’ve been struggling tying it on to the main line. I’ve tried the double uni knot so many times and can’t figure it out, I’m an idiot when it comes to knots. I stumbled across this video and have had success tying it. The only problem is, I don’t know the name of the knot. Also, is it a good knot?
