Coyote or fox?

I pulled over today to pick up a pretty large skunk off the side of the road. Super stoked because it was still perfectly in tact, with no clear / visible injury; but as I got out to run across the street, I noticed this guy pancaked before me. What is it? A coyote or a fox? Looks like a small coyote imo but im not too familiar with fox remains. Also, I will post skunk tomorrow when I decide what to do with it. Any suggestions ? TIA!

Saved this little guy off the shoulder of a highway.

so I saved the sweetest little fella off the shoulder of the highway the other day. Very apparent he has been a stray for a long time. He had fleas and ticks I've managed to mostly get rid of, I don't see anything more but will keep checking. He's in pretty rough shape for being so young but he's as sweet as can be. I'm curious though, can anyone tell me what is going on with his bottom? I don't see worms in his stool or anything alarming , but I have noticed he does seem to have some sort of rectal abnormality. I read it could be a number of things, impacted anal glands, prolapse, hernia? He needs a vet appt asap, I've only had him 2 days and I have another dog in the house so want to get him checked out asap but thought I would ask here until I can get him in. Thanks so much
