Thank You Rockville Community! (Update on fun events for young adults)

Hi!! I just wanted to say thank you to ALL of the people who have offered their own personal help, have offered their own business and ideas on how to continue this.

I knew other people felt this way but it has been such a big amount! I am currently organizing all of the info, trying to talk to those who reached out and messaging business to make the first event.
I know this was geared to 20 year old somethings, but as we grow I plan to make different events for different groups. They will all be fun regardless (:
I will continue posting my journey on this on Instagram (@sun.hostings), but will put out the next event here.

Fun events for 20 something’s in Rockville - Searching small businesses

Hi good morning ! My name is Ivana and I’ve lived in Rockville for almost four years.

I’m in my twenties and living in Rockville has been so amazing and beautiful, but I would like to do more activities in addition to go to happy hour, book club, run clubs etc. Don’t get me wrong, I love those so much! But I always compare it to the experience other 20 year olds have living in or around DC.

They experience community talent shows, eating contests, PowerPoint nights, game tournaments (geared to something all 20 year olds have played, like an Uno tournament! )

I am starting out very small. I have experience in hosting, but I want to document online what type of events I can do personally in hopes of working with a small business in Rockville to host to a bigger community here besides my immediate one.

Hopefully you can follow my journey on Instagram or TikTok at @sun.hostings ! Also hopefully to find a venue where if you are 20 something, we can all hang out and have fun!

Please let me know if you think of a small business in mind that is willing to let me use their space to host as I could build up a community and they could also build up customers as well.
