We had our first meetup a couple weeks ago, it was great to meet other women interested in FIRE and lots of other overlapping hobbies!
If you would like to join for the second Seattle meetup. We are meeting August 22nd at 11 am at Citizen on Queen Anne.
We will grab a picnic table in their outside area.
*** update*** meeting this Saturday at 11 am on Queen Anne. Thanks so much for baring with me I’ve never organized an event before and so glad we had so much interest! I created a meet up group to make communication easier. Since finding a time that works for everyone is pretty difficult, we will start with at least 2 meetings and then see where we want to take the group from there.
On MeetUp we are on a free plan so I’ll mainly use it to communicate date, time, and place. I think it limits us to 10 attendees but all are welcome to join.

Hi all, I remember awhile ago someone organized a Portland meet up and I thought it sounded like fun to meet some like minded women. Not very many people in my life get excited by budgeting and financial modeling 😂
If there is enough interest we can organize a meet up at a coffee shop and I’ll DM interested people details.
A little bit about me I am 37 work in tech, and my partner and I are about to have our first baby. We have been working towards FIRE the last couple years, and with this big life change we are reevaluating our priorities.
A couple FIRE things I love to nerd out about! I find the psychology of personal finance fascinating and really enjoy the Money for Couples podcast and love finding a good financial software. Outside of FIRE I love to swim at lake Washington, visit local bookstores, and enjoy exploring art and design.
