After 3 seasons, I think Netflix has seen enough behind-the-scenes to get a clear picture of everyone’s behavior.

I was shocked that they included that clip because it made Charlotte look so bad. There is no mistaking how Charlotte comes across even if you had never watched an episode of the show before or even heard about DCC and how cutthroat auditions are, etc. Everyone at some point has met a Charlotte and could not mistake or excuse the way she acted or expressed herself.

Netflix has to pay the Joneses for rights to film the series. Producers wouldn’t want to get on their bad side, but I think this was a subtle way for them to really show who she is. Which is worse, because if she allows herself to be filmed talking like that, imagine what goes on behind closed doors…
