Beginner training

Hello, I have recently decided that I would like to try to train for a triathlon (well it started as an ironman and then my brother told me i was crazy). I have next to 0 experience but believe I can do anything I set my mind to lol. Wondering if anyone has any advice where to start with training? Also if anyone could please recommend me a good affordable bike to start with! Im 5’9 F so need something that works for my height. TIA
