My partner and I are looking to relocate somewhere near the coast — preferably not too far north and with little to no snow if possible. We’d love recommendations for mid-sized cities that have decent universities, are fairly police-friendly (for my spouse’s career), and are still reasonably affordable. We’re also really drawn to places with a strong arts, music, or history scene. Big bonus points for good fishing and that laid-back Southern coastal lifestyle. Would love to hear any suggestions or personal experiences!
