But holy crap it makes the phone a barbell lol. There is no way I can take this phone running now hahaha. My short will fall down with the weight of this phone.
Case is fantastic though, just wondering if the front screen hinge will scratch the phone though.
I normally always go caseless on my phones but for this Trifold I just feel it's not a good idea to do that hahaha.
How's everyone's berfys experience so far.
I just noticed that when I press the screen near where the inner screen folds it feels like a lifting screen sound, like a sticky tape lifting if it makes sense. This only occurs once in a while after unfold the phone. The screen itself is perfect with no issues, but I am just a bit concerned as I imported this thing and for any warranty it's basically a 6 hour international flight away? Also, I was playing with a demo trifold and I noticed that in the display the way the trifold snap back was more pronounced than mine. I think I must be paranoid. Lol.
So, i finally got my hands on a Singapore version Trifold with no esim support - whilst annoying and this will not enable me to get an esim on the fly during my travels, I do have an iPhone air which I use for all my esim needs.
What I find concerning or a potential for concern is the fact that this phone is now discontinued. Now using it for the last week it has been brilliant and putting it through the paces of a 6 hour flight home with Netflix download proves this to be a travelling life changer - i love the idea of not having to lug a phone and a tablet! Lol
So the concern comes to my experiences in the last couple of days with the UI, on occasion I will have issues that delays touch responses as well as some incompatibility issues. How do you all think software updates will go? Will this be regularly supported? Do we know if this will receive xxx amount of updates for the next couple of years?
I also hate thinking that if the rumours are true and the trifold 2 is coming out really soon, I will have to upgrade again (lol first world problems).
I really really love this device. Lol. I don't think I'll ever go back to the fold series aspect ratio again. (Unless the wide 8 is great).
