Awesome to find a community of fellow Dads here, Looking for like minded players!
Just wanted to drop a post and say it’s incredibly refreshing to find a Marathon community specifically for Dads. To be completely honest, it’s been tough finding people to squad up with who actually get it. Between juggling a full time career and family life, my gaming hours are limited. Too often, I end up playing with younger guys who still live at home and just don’t understand that life/work has to come first sometimes. They can get impatient or take things way too seriously. I’m not trying to go pro or turn gaming into a second career. I play because I genuinely love video games and want to unwind with a good match. It’s great to see a group of people who are on the exact same page, where everyone understands the reality of the daily grind but still wants to drop in and play at a high level when time permits.
