I have passed class 10 this year. I want to take admission in NIOS for class 12 because I am preparing for IAT/NEST and abroad scholarship exams. Can I get admission in NIOS this year? Or next year? Do I need to take any NIOS tuition, because I heard that many times students don't get the notifications
I recently passed my 10th grade (2026) and I am planning to enroll in NIOS for my Class 12 boards. My goal is to appear for the 12th Board exams in 2028, as I want to dedicate my time to preparing for competitive exams like NEET and NEST.
Today, I visited an NIOS coaching center for enrollment, but they told me that I cannot admit myself this year and would have to wait until next year.
This is where I am confused:
I am a fresh candidate. If I wait until next year to enroll, won't I be considered a "drop" candidate?
Since I want to give my exams in 2028, isn't it the right time to register now for the 2-year cycle?
Can I enroll in NIOS right now as a fresh student?
I would really appreciate it if someone could clarify the admission timeline for the 2028 batch or guide me on what the coaching center might have meant.
