If i add maths as an additional subject via nios with pcb from cbse is it mandatory to show this maths via nios in neet 2027 registration form or completely optional cause my primary class 12th subject are pcb from cbse and show maths during admission process only?
I posted yesterday that my admission has been verified, today I opened the dashboard and saw that it's confirmed.I have downloaded my id card from the dashboard, Now what to do next? Do I have to apply somewhere for the books or is it automatic?
so i want to change my study center but the thing is they only allow us to choose one study center to change like we can only select one school , and if this school's seats gets full before they verify me seat , my game will be over . so should i apply for this school or should i apply to another school , as in last 21 days 50 seats have been alotted to students
Hi, I'm 19F I'm really confused about nios on demand and I'd love some pointers. I've taken admission in a girl's university for Btech and they're accepting nios marksheet.
I got comp in math and couldn't clear it in supplimentry exams either, the last thing i want to do is take a drop, I'm already a year behind from my peers due to a medical issue I had in school but taking a drop will take a huge toll on my mental health. I just need some advice on what to do and how to do it
My subjects are math, chemistry and data sciences (as they didn't have the 5th subject I picked in 12th). I'm really stressed and idk what to expect, please someone explain the process and Lab and how the marks are allotted. It would be if huge help guys, I have exams in 15 days..

How was y'all's checking in the ODE exam? If you're confident that you wrote the paper well but still got much lower marks than expected, does rechecking actually help? Like, if there's a mistake in evaluation, do they increase the marks after rechecking, or do the marks usually remain the same?

I have no idea what I'm doing with TMA lol. A few questions:
Has the TMA question paper been uploaded on the portal yet for April 2027 students?
Do we apply for TMA first or does it show up automatically?
When does the upload window open?
Any tips for writing TMA answers — how detailed should they be?
Anything else I should know or look out for as a new NIOS student?

I gave NIOS ODE and got all my marks. but my toc subjects not added yet. NIOS HQ got my documents before 1 august. how long does it take.
So just like some others I also got my practicals results as Absent, Basically, I attended my practical but was incorrectly marked ABSENT, and I've already emailed the relevant NIOS departments multiple times.
Today I decided to go personally to NIOS Headquarters because I wasn't getting any proper response.
Honestly, the experience was really frustrating. The staff were extremely rude and there was basically zero accountability. One ma'am told me to send an application by email. I told her I'd already emailed them about 6 days ago. She checked it and then told me to forward the same application to the specific R Cell/official email addresses she gave me.
At one point I was trying to confirm whether I had correctly understood the email address she was writing down because her handwriting wasn't clear. She got irritated, gave my phone back to me quite harshly, and basically shouted at me to “go and figure it out yourself.”
I didn't argue with her. I just followed the instructions and forwarded my application to all the email addresses she gave me while I was there.
After that, she told me that the ABSENT status should be corrected within around one week / 8 days.
Now I'm just extremely anxious because this is obviously important for my result and future.
For people who have dealt with NIOS before:
Has anyone experienced something similar where NIOS initially marked them absent/wrong and then corrected it after an HQ/R Cell complaint?
And if you've dealt with these people before, is this kind of rude behaviour normal? 😭
Most importantly, do you think my problem will be solved soon!!
Will it get corrected by 1-2 weeks, coz I lost all faith in this institutionn!! 😭😭

So i need to give physics in nios the rest of the subs i have in cbse and i don’t want to transfer it
In physics i got repeat in theory but passed in practical and it wasn’t counted in the percentage as only best 5 are counted
Now while filling up form they’re asking for the previous qualification certificate, is it 11th class’s certificate or 12th marksheet? In my 12th marksheet the result is pass
Also, for failed marksheet, what to give? Should i give the supplementary exam marksheet where i got RT?
And, while entering marks, do i enter the marks of physics as the one after supplementary exam or the one in the original 12th marksheet?
i am asking this for april 2027 exams class 12 , i dont want my marksheet to be delivered at corresponding address , so is there anyway i can get the marksheet directly from the study center or regional center or headquater
Can I apply for ODE in NIOS cause I got a compartment in CBSE?
I registered for NIOS with TOC from CBSE, but NIOS says I need to submit my original failed marksheet within a week.
My CBSE school doesn’t provide a physical failed marksheet; I only have the official marksheet on DigiLocker.
Can I submit the DigiLocker marksheet instead? And what exactly is the “Admission Form” NIOS is asking for?

I am enrolled in Class 12 Senior Secondary, Science stream, under NIOS Stream 1, Block 2 for the upcoming October Public Exam. I have already submitted my TMA.
According to my official NIOS ID Card, my Study Centre / AI is listed as a school in Jalpaiguri. However, when I contacted the school regarding PCP classes and practical subjects, the school authorities informed me that they do not conduct PCP classes for self enrolled independent learners and redirected me elsewhere.
Because of this, I am currently confused about which study centre I am actually supposed to attend for the compulsory PCP classes and practical related requirements.
I have tried to clarify this but have not been able to get a clear answer. I do not want to miss any PCP classes or important information before the theory examination.
Has anyone enrolled under NIOS Stream 1, Block 2 faced a similar situation? How can I find out my actual PCP centre, and is there any official way to verify it?

I want gov hss as my study centre and earlier i thought students can select their study centre itself but when I reach that page and did some research through chatgpt then I got to know students can only select preference and study centre alloted by nios by automated system and the problem is i already asked ms memorial and JNV and they told me their is no study centre here, even if it's listed on study centre locater as 'active' on nios web and JNV is gov school and ms memorial is private.
So I have only 2 centre available to choose my preferences and I want gov hss as my centre bcoz it is gov school and jeewan public school is operating as nios centre but it is private
So even if I select gov hss as '1' preference and jeewan public as '2', still I need to select 1 more study centre and there is no more study centre for my coursee and class.
So I'm afraid that if I select non operational study centre as '3' then system allot that centre then what happens and I heard in this sub that even regional centre don't change study centre even if changing possible as per nios.
Thats why today u visited gov hss and the principal Suggest me a cyber cafe for admission and cyber cafe may charge 3200 or 3500rs and Tommorow I'm going to take my admission through that cyber cafe bcoz of this, even I already filled more than half form.
So what should I do?

I'm a Senior Secondary NIOS student and I appeared for the Physics (312) On-Demand Examination (ODE) on 16 June 2026 at the correct center.
I was present for the entire exam, signed the attendance sheet, wrote the paper, and submitted my answer booklet. However, when the result was declared, my Physics theory shows "AB (Absent)". Because of this, my result is showing SYCT.
I have already emailed NIOS, but I'm really stressed because this is affecting my college admissions.
Has this happened to anyone else?
How did you get it corrected?
How long did NIOS take to fix it?
Should I only email them, or also contact the Regional Centre and visit in person?
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.
