In person the dark spots around the edges just look like air pockets/bubbles but I can’t tell if the light spots are fuzzy or if it’s flour that didn’t get mixed in properly coming to the surface (Yes I know there’s a cat hair in it, it snuck in during my last feed). It smells fine, actually smells like bread with a slightly sweet/sour smell. My starter is 8 days old, I was leaving it on my kitchen counter but it gets pretty cold in there so I moved it to our spare bedroom where it’s a bit warmer. This is my first time trying to create a starter so I’m not sure what it’s supposed to look like. Help please 😩
