Flatheads at the O’Connor shops is one of my coffee haunts. The lovely Wednesday baristas have told me their names and now I’ve forgotten and I’m embarrassed to ask again. One has a short bright blonde bob and glasses.
Any ideas?
Hi - just had my first mammogram and ultrasound post active treatment.
I had a large scale reduction in October 2025 following the standard protocol for TNBC. I got the “silver medal” post surgery: not PCR but almost.
The mammogram and ultrasound today has knocked me flat. I’m crying, panicked and writing my will in my head. No biopsy taken and the tech was lovely. Due to see my surgeon on Friday for results as standard procedure.
Is this reaction akin to PTSD? I feel the same clawing anxiety as I did the first time before being diagnosed. The way the first tech said “good luck”.
I suppose there’s not a lot I can do before Friday. I’m just hoping a bit of a vent will ease my anxiety.
