Im nearer to cross stitch & I’m starting this pattern and instead of working one 5x5 box I’d like to do the lighter outline then work the other colors inside the same way, would that mess up my project?
Anything I can do different/better? This is my first ever cross stitch project & I’m proud of it, but I know there’s more to learn.

Where the pink arrow is I went a stitch too far on a section and didn’t realize it until I was done for the night. Which meant all the areas above it went 1 too far. Should I try fixing it by adding an extra stitch to each line below or just leave it?
