I didn't give Kuro the charm back cuz I knew I was not ready. But even with the charm, the game doesn't feel any easier than the first playthrough. I thought I would breeze through ALL bosses with my current attack levels. Most of the bosses I was able to defeat within 2 attempts. But why does headless ape feel so much more difficult? I was able to get him down on the first attempt last playthrough (maybe because I got lucky..) This time it took me 10 tries and I almost broke the controllers!! And now I am at True monk, I already died 5 times. I remember other games like lies of P and khazan NG+ feel so much easier. Well, I probably just need to git gud. But so far these are the two I have struggled with.. very looking forward to the SSI. 😭
