Crossplay Missed Connections
So I originally downloaded crossplay when it was first launched. Loved it of course. Not a lot of people I know do the NYT games so I was randomizing all my matches. One day I was matched with a player named ‘Your mom’. We had a great game. So I challenged them again.
This continued for a good while, and we would play each other every day and always challenge the other for another game when the previous had ended. We had a very even score as well. If I had to guess, at least 60 games were played over the course of months.
Then the app updated. My poopoo old phone didn’t support the new update. So I lost my matches in May of this year. Now, I have a new phone, and have been playing crossplay to my heart’s content. Still something is missing, as ‘Your mom’ never responded to my friend request when we played. Therefore they are lost to the ether.
This is all to say if you are playing or have recently played anyone named ‘Your mom’ that has the profile picture of the lady standing behind leaves, please let me know their friend code so we may resume our intellectual battles.
