So this is Carl, he’s been with me for about a year. The past 2-3 days we’ve noticed these small bumps on him on. there is a few more curling with his shell but i can’t get a clear pic of that.
I read on here it could be Nerite eggs, and we do have 1 red racer in the tank. so maybe?
I am home almost 24/7 and watch the tank like it’s my job.. and have never seen them interact.
also if it is Nerite eggs, is that normal just for one to lay? I read that they breed in “brackish” water. which we don’t have, and only have one.

(also the white one the fishes head is just sand from a water change)
