Gym wear recommendation
Hii! I recently started going to the gym and need some outfit recommendations since I have no idea where to shop 😭
Looking for:
- Baggy tracks/joggers that are comfortable.
- Loose workout tops that aren't body-hugging or clingy.
- Leggings (or any alternative) that I can wear under shorts.
- Breathable fabrics only if possible. I don't really like polyester because it gets too sweaty.
- Also looking for a nice body mist/body spray for the gym -something light, fresh, and summery that isn't too strong.
I'm a student, so I'd really appreciate budget-friendly recommendations. Thank youu 🤍
Paid for a trainer but all he makes me do is cardio
Hi everyone. For context I'm (soon to be) 17f, from Calcutta who joined gym around 13 days ago because i was worried of my health and physique. There's a gym very close to where I stay so obviously it was my go-to option. I opted for a yearly membership plan for 16k INR (which is for students btw, for others its even higher) since the monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly packages all were at an extortionate rate ( typical gym trynna squeeze your pockets). After not even going to the gym for 2 days I again paid for a PT since the gym management successfully convinced me that because i am a complete beginner I will need a trainer to correct my form and all that which was kind of reasonable. 4.5k spent for 12 sessions. However my PT suggests I do only cardio for a few months or else I will "dislocate my joints" and "injure myself in the process". I mean that is exactly why i paid for a trainer, so that i can do some weight training safely with the correct forms. What would i need a trainer for if all i do is walk on the treadmill, and do endless cycles of crunches and squats while you chat with other dudes in the gym? The same PT also trains mostly the women in the gym and its kinda the same for them too- make them do treadmill, squats, crunches, jumping jacks and all the cardio in the world and charge 4.5k for 12 sessions while you spot them while doing absolutely nothing. Moreover I walk alot everyday that is like 2km in total- I really need some strength training and not more cardio. I really feel helpless apart from feeling like my money has gone to waste. Any advice would be appreciated
TL;DR: 17f paid an extortionate price for a tier 1 gym and a PT, but all the trainer does is makes me do cardio
