I wonder how many of the simps are in this subreddit

All of the posts are just snark against Rob, Michele, Romy and Jake. They to to show “evidence” that Rob and Michele did something to their children to justify Nick brutally murdering them. I have a hunch that there is a large overlap between members of the “free4all” subs.

My friend says I shouldn’t have biological kids

I told her about my family’s history with mental health, and she told me that I shouldn’t have my own biological kids. We had a falling out over a year ago and recently reconciled, so I don’t want to cut ties with her or anything. That being said, I really wish she hadn’t made that comment.

I’m nowhere near ready to be a mom, but I’ve always wanted to have my own baby. Right now, I’m on the waitlist for an OCD treatment facility. Even if I get better, would it be selfish to bring another person into this world 5, 10, or 15 years later?

someone please help a girl out with her existential crisis

I hate selfie verifications

Since it’s next to impossible to secure a full time job these days even with a masters degree, I’ve been playing some games to earn extra money. Of course, if I want to transfer my reward to my banking account, I have to verify I’m a real human by looking up and down. They caught a horrific image of me where I look like Quasimodo, and I can’t get it out of my head. Does everyone look ugly in those types of photos, or in the Target checkout cameras, or am I deluding myself? And don’t even get me started on how hideous my driver’s license is.

The double standards against Elizabeth Berkley are why we need feminism

No disrespect to the dead, but Dustin Diamond made numerous sex tapes and starred in a cursed movie called “Porndogs”. Apparently it’s okay when Screech goes rogue and crosses the line into zoophilia, but the nerdy girl can’t go wild for a MOVIE ROLE without a widespread moral panic.

Say what you want about Showgirls, but Nomi’s aesthetic influenced many popular films, TV shows, and even music albums. Elizabeth Berkley is way nicer and more emotionally adjusted than I am, but I am pissed on her behalf that she had to go through all those decades of scorn before people realized she was an icon.

Rant over. I need to binge watch Saved By the Bell AND Twin Peaks at the same time for maximum enjoyment before I rewatch Showgirls.

Anyone else in the Bible Belt and slowly losing their will to live?

I’m trying to find joy in the small things, but I absolutely hate it here. I’m 27 with a masters degree and have been searching for work for 9 months, and no one wants to hire me. I’m so unhappy, and my only close friend who still lived here died over a year ago. I can’t drive right now and feel so hopeless. I get so envious seeing social media influencers living their best life in a $5000/month Manhattan apartment, while I’m told that I’m “underqualified” for any entry-level tech position.

Is anyone else in a similar situation? I’m at the end of my rope and need some emotional support.

this job market is killing my soul

I’ve been doing this for nearly a year and I’m beyond done. It should not be this hard to find work in the STEM field with a masters degree. I’m honestly considering giving up and working at a bakery or a flower shop, but that probably requires 5+ years of experience in culinary or floral arts.

I am tired of only hearing back from 5% of the places I apply to, only to fail their timed coding exam or their in-person interview. My mom tries to reassure me by saying it was hard for her to find work out of vet school, but she was not searching for work in this economy.

This is going to drive me off the rails. I have an interview on Wednesday and I’m honestly going in expecting not to get the job because that’s what always happens. When interviewers ask what I’ve been doing the past year, I want to laugh. The honest answer? Applying for jobs while dealing with chronic pain, severe OCD and d*pression. This is my life at 27, and I hate it.
