"Flooring"

Looking for some advice on covering my seats, floor, and eventual small casting platform on my 14ft jon boat. Trying to keep it very low cost as I would best describe the boat as a "beater" and I got it with a trailer and trolling motor for $400.

What is the more cost effective option while still being comfortable on the butt and feet. Or at least more comfortable than the aluminum of the boat.

  1. EVA foam decking
  2. Fake indoor/outdoor Turf
  3. Marine carpet

Trying to get an old SeaBee 1G4 running but I'm missing some parts, specifically what I know so far is I'm missing the condenser and point arm plus the pull start plate, any help in finding low cost replacements would be appreciated, trying to keep the cost low because I got the SeaBee and a British Seagull from an auction for about $50 and I'm not trying to spend a small fortune just to find out they are junk.

Mostly for the seabee I'm trying to figure out if anyone knows what I can sub in for the point and condenser that should work well enough to make it run, the pull start I think is gonna be self fab or buying a fully flywheel assembly from eBay.
