⚔️ Major combat and spellcasting upgrades — new round timer in the status bar, redesigned spell combat, better attack tracking, smarter spell retries, and improved combat flow.

💚 Smarter healing, curing, and blessing logic — reworked healing priorities, party/room-heal options, lowest-member healing, timed bless recasts, and faster HP updates.

🧭 Navigation and event improvements — updated paths, better path selection, resizable “How to Get There” window, combat-aware event pausing, new hotkeys, and backtracking support.

🎒 Better item, parser, and file handling — improved pickup/drop/buy/sell parsing, smarter auto-learning of equipped items, safer character saves, and more reliable capture/data handling.

🖥️ Interface polish and stability fixes — cleaner window titles, better toolbar icons, reset-window options, improved inventory weight tools, reduced connection spam, and a big batch of combat/pathing/party bug fixes.

MMUD Explorer v2.2 Released

  • FIX: Weapon +hitmagic was not being considered in vs mob/lair damage output calculations for regular melee attacks if the character wasn't also backstabbing. Even in those cases, it was the backstab weapon magic being considered. This could greatly hinder accurate exp/hr predictions for many versus mobs that have +hitmagic requirements.
  • UP: You can now press the back button on the mouse to go back to previous tabs in the order they were clicked
  • UP: Right-clicking on Up or Down exits on the maps will now immediately go up or down (up+down excluded)
  • UP: Added a button to the EQ tab to copy commands to your clipboard to equip all of the selected items
  • UP: Encum/weight will now be differentiated more clearly from the ability that provides +enc%
  • UP: Tolls in room tooltips will now show as gold or higher currency
  • UP: You can now specify the database (mdb) and/or character file (mmec) as arguments to launch MME
  • UP: Monster detail panes will no longer refresh (losing scroll position) when switching tabs
  • UP: Next armour slot button will no longer skip "nowhere" and WILL skip slots with no available armour
  • UP: NMR import/export will now import to and export carried items from the inventory manager
  • UP: Added support for new GreaterMUD abilities
  • UP: Tweaked mana recovery prediction formulas in exp/hr models
  • UP: Item manager will now show items in red color if they are both carried and currently equipped
  • FIX: Paste MegaMud stats on Swing Calc's true damage calculator now accepts MegaMMUD v1 and v2's formats

  • FIX: monster greet / textblock command parsing for consecutive command quantities
  • FIX: copying item details to clipboard from the item manager
  • FIX: stock exp calculator at higher exp tables
  • FIX: Inconsistent item references for items that can be also obtained from chests
  • FIX: Added keepalives to the database connection to prevent errors after MME has been idle for awhile
