MOC: Chevrolet El Camino 1981 – Jesse Pinkman getaway car

Here’s my LEGO version of the 1981 Chevrolet El Camino from El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie / Breaking Bad — the car Jesse Pinkman escapes in at the end of the story.

This was one of those vehicles I instantly knew I had to build after watching the movie. The El Camino has such a unique mix of muscle car and pickup proportions, and translating that into LEGO was a really fun challenge.

Built in Creator Expert scale.

Features:

  • working steering
  • opening doors, hood and tailgate
  • detailed engine and interior

1966 Pontiac Bonneville – one of my first Creator Expert scale builds

Here’s my LEGO 1966 Pontiac Bonneville, built in Creator Expert scale.

This was one of my first cars in this scale, so it feels a bit historical to me now 😄 Even after many newer projects, it’s still one of my personal favorites and one of the builds I’m happiest with.

I tried to capture the long proportions, massive body lines, and classic American “land yacht” feeling of 60s cars.

Features:

  • working steering
  • opening doors, hood and trunk

1966 Pontiac Bonneville – one of my first Creator Expert scale cars

I’d like to share one of my older builds — a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville in Creator Expert scale.

This was one of the first cars I designed in this scale, so it feels a bit nostalgic to revisit it now. Even after several newer projects, it’s still one of my personal favorites.

I tried to recreate the huge proportions and classic American styling of mid-60s full-size cars, with a detailed interior and engine bay.

Features:

  • working steering
  • opening doors, hood and trunk
  • detailed engine and interior

Always interesting to compare older builds with newer ones and see how the building style evolves over time 😊

MOC: Pontiac Bonneville 1966 – classic American land yacht

Here’s my LEGO version of the 1966 Pontiac Bonneville, built in Creator Expert scale.

This was one of my first models in this scale, so it feels a bit “historical” to me now 😄

Despite its age, it’s still one of my personal favorites and, honestly, one of the builds I’m happiest with.

I wanted to capture the long proportions, massive bodywork, and classic American luxury styling of mid-60s Pontiac cars. The real Bonneville was over 5.5 meters long, so this thing became quite a “land yacht” even in LEGO form.

Features:

  • working steering
  • opening doors, hood and trunk
  • detailed engine and interior

I made a quick comparison of my latest build with the original 1972 Ford Gran Torino.

I tried to capture the long hood proportions, sharp front styling, and classic muscle-era body lines in Creator Expert scale.

How close did I get? 😊

I thought these two of my builds looked great together, so I decided to give them a shared photo session.

A 1983 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Highway Patrol car and a 1989 Chevrolet Caprice NYC Taxi — two classic vehicles that capture the feel of American streets in the 1980s.

Both models are built in Creator Expert scale.

What do you think — 🚓 or 🚕 ?

Features:

  • working steering
  • opening doors, hood and trunk
  • detailed interiors and engines

Here’s my latest LEGO car build: a 1972 Ford Gran Torino.

I wanted to recreate the long hood, bold front grille, and unmistakable proportions that made these early 70s American coupes so iconic.

This is my latest car build: a 1972 Ford Gran Torino in Creator Expert scale.

I wanted to capture the long-hood proportions, sharp front styling, and bold body lines that made these early 70s American coupes so distinctive, while keeping some functional elements.

Features:

  • working steering (connected to steering wheel)
  • opening doors (double hinge), hood and trunk
  • detailed engine bay and interior
  • mix of studded and SNOT building techniques

I’d really appreciate any feedback—especially on the shaping, proportions, and overall stance.

Here’s my LEGO classic car built as an alternate model using only the parts from set 10265 Ford Mustang.

I wanted to create something with a more elegant vintage look while staying within the original set inventory.

Built using only the parts from the Mustang set.
