Is competitive Pokemon battling both mentally and emotionally taxing?

Is it okay to have a use a team mixed with legitmately obtained Pokemon and some through third party means in Champions?
As long as they have legitmate stats right? 4 out of 6 of my Pokemon are obtained legitmately in game (Both through recruiting and from my other games by catching/breeding) and only some if it is too impractical or harder to get such as (kingambit or milotic) I get it through third party means and it passes home. Do you think that is okay?
