Visited my parents recently at my childhood home. Found an old Korn tour shirt from when I went to the Sick and Twisted Tour in 2000. I was like 13 at the time, I went with my older cousin. It’s pretty faded and destroyed but I am glad to have it again!
What is it with the Forresters thinking it’s so crazy for a competing fashion house to have a jewelry line “in direct competition with Electra?” They’re acting like they stole Electra’s designs or something. Forrester and Electra do not have a monopoly on jewelry. Logan does not need to ask FC or Electra for permission to have a jewelry line nor do they need to let them know that they are creating one. If Electra cannot handle any competition then she’s in the wrong industry. They’re acting like such sore losers. Eric is literally acting like Katie murdered someone, him calling her evil, dark, and cruel is so ridiculous and embarrassing. Like what exactly did she do that was so horrid? She didn’t steal anything from Forrester. She doesn’t owe Forrester any loyalty after how they demoted her and hired a PR firm. But as usual, the Forresters don’t own up to their role in anything. It’s always 100% someone else’s fault.
For me, I cannot stand how the characters are not allowed to have rebuttals or defend themselves. The conversations are all one-sided for the most part. Why in all this time has nobody acknowledged that Electra probably wouldn’t have divulged private Forester info to Will if the roles were reversed? Why didn’t Will ask Electra if she would have done that? Why didn’t he ask Eric if he would be ok with Electra doing that? Nobody is ever called out on their hypocrisy. I thought that at least maybe Bill or Katie would have asked Will about that.
Why wasn’t there a conversation between Katie/Bill and Eric about the whole Eric designing for Logan thing. Call him out, remind him that HE sought out Logan, begged Katie to let him design, HE signed a contract and was paid for his designs.
Hope barely defended herself to Brooke. Why didn’t she tell her that she has more family at Spencer than at Forrester considering her aunt, husband, father in law, brother in law (Wyatt), brother-in-law and nephew (Will) and brother (Deke) work there? Why didn’t she remind Brooke about how Ridge called her a slut and a nasty bitch last year and was hurt by Brooke marrying that same man who said those things? Why didn’t Hope remind Brooke of all the times that she hurt her? Why didn’t Hope tell Brooke that she is an adult and can decide to work where she wants to and doesn’t need her mommy to dictate her life choices for her?
The lack of rebuttals is so frustrating on this show. It would be so much more interesting if people were allowed to defend themselves more instead of just crying and begging for forgiveness. The closest we get is Bill and Katie, but even they don’t defend themselves like they should.
I get that Ridge and Steffy are mad at the Spencers right now after the success of Logan, but how could these two grown adult CEOs not realize that you can’t just divulge private information about your company to someone who works for the competition simply because they’re your gf? They should know how business works more than anyone. Ridge really thinks that Will should have given Electra a “heads up” about the jewelry line. Would Steffy and Ridge been ok with Electra giving Will a “heads up” about private Forrester info? I’m sure they wouldn’t.
I would have thought that Ridge at the very least would have been the voice of reason today and explained to his son that Will works for a competing fashion house now and can’t reveal private company secrets to anyone including his gf of less than a year. But no, Ridge and Steffy were both acting so ridiculous and dumb, it’s crazy coming from two grown CEOs who should clearly know how business works.
So how do you all think Zende will react to Hope being at Logan? Zende has been frustrated for a while about HFTF being postponed. Now with Hope being gone, what will happen to his HFTF designs? Will FC create a line for him using his HFTF designs? Will Zende be mad at Hope or will he blame Steffy for Hope leaving because Steffy kept postponing HFTF? I doubt Zende will leave FC, but I am curious to see how he will react and if he will blow up at Steffy for pushing Hope out of FC and over to Logan.
