How close were Gohan and Piccolo in strength during the Moro arc?

I know that Gohan was definitively stronger than Piccolo during the Moro arc. But given the fact that Piccolo was able to keep up with Gohan to help perform combos, I feel as though the difference in strength between them isn’t as big as a thought. So, exactly how big was the gap between Gohan and Piccolo during this arc?

THEORY: Dragon Ball Super will be the final DLC collab for Year 2.

My theory is that Dragon Ball Super will be the last DLC collab (for year 2, at least). The final DLC will release in Q4 of 2027, which is exactly when the Galactic Patrol Arc is set to air (Fall 2027). It coincides PERFECTLY.

What better way to advertise Super’s returns than to have Goku and Vegeta join CrossWorlds?

Elder Guru’s Potential Unlocking normally just makes your base form stronger, not give you a whole new transformation altogether. So I’m wondering if Sheron’s unlocking made Piccolo’s base form stronger on top of giving him his (YELLOW) Power Awakened form?
