I miss that era so much! It was fun to hear from the Voice Actors and the actors in the FNAF movies too! I’d hope he’d bring it back for the FNAF 2 movie but he didn’t :(
There’s also so many voice actors he’s missed from UCN like a lot from FNAF 2 and FNAF 4 characters I really wanted to hear from, would’ve been nice to hear from them since the anniversary was only a few days ago!
I hope he goes back to them someday!
I haven’t seen anyone discuss this, because usually under discussions of the Nightmare Fredbear’s voice most people say he just sounded that way because of the ‘Scary effects’.
Zach Hoffman (Nightmare Fredbear’s VA) does say he included the effects because that was his idea. However when there was a question about whether it was Scott’s direction or his own ideas, they collaborated together to make it the way it was and how he can’t give out any more details.
I personally think based on all of these, that the layered voice effects are indeed intentional and incredibly related to the Bite Victim/Crying Child in some way. Especially if you believe NightmareVictim or that the Crying Child is Nightmare Fredbear.
I feel like it’s super important that Fredbear was the only Nightmare to have that extremely layered voice, AND have callbacks to the Fredbear Plushie’s voice lines, that HAS to mean something.
I’m interested to hear all of your interpretations about this. I’m not too sure if this is fully reliable as evidence since Scott doesn’t disclose everything to his staff but it’s interesting to think about for sure.
