anaal nathrakh is goated at picking out guest vocalists. when i listened to passion for the first time, i was like, “is that freaking BETHLEHEM’S vocalist???” rainer landfermann gives it his ALL in that song and it helps that mick’s instrumentals are as emotional as ever

early swans is so goated. if you like slow, abrasive industrial metal like godflesh, you’ll love filth by swans

i’m looking for albums that sound like lo-fi/gritty terror. stuff that feels actively THREATENING to listen to. having that overblown-stream-of-blast-beats sound is preferable but i can fuck with some doom metal (or, fuck, give me some dark ambient/industrial/electronic if you wanna) if it’s the right vibe
