Looking for cycling friends near Leiden
Hi all,
I am a 33 years old expat from France and I love road cycling. I live near Leiden and I am a member of a bike racing club. The problem with those clubs is that it's not very social. Everybody trains alone and just show up for races. The members are also a lot of younger Dutch people so for a 33 years old expat it's not easy to make friends.
I am jealous every time I see groups of 4-5 people riding together and I would love to find like minded people to ride together frequently, and maybe participate in cycling events together. I'm a man but have no particular requirements, I'm happy to ride with people of any gender or age as long as they're happy to ride with me.
I live in the north of Leiden and I ride at about 31km/h average. I take cycling a bit seriously and like to ride fast, and I'm looking for people to do this with, ideally with a similar-ish level. If you're interested but have a slightly lower level don't worry, I'm happy to do most of the pulling. If you have a slightly higher level, I'm happy to sit in the wheel most of the time and give you some good pulls when I can :)
