When you tell people you've brought home a kitten, how do you decide what word to use (adopted, rescued, bought, found....kidnapped,....etc)?

I'll be adopting a seal point and a flame point soon. They just need a bit more time with mom! They'll be my first kittens and I'm very excited. 😊
