Would anyone be able to identify this beauty? It’s my tia’s plant in Southern California and this is the only photo I have, sorry. It’s a huge plant, with tiny spines along the side of each petal, and no discernible patterns.

Hello all! I’m giving my sister this ghost euphorbia that has been on her list for a while. I bought it from a guy off of marketplace. I asked him about these dots that are on the plant and he said they are from sun damage. They are brown with a white center and when I take them off the plants bleeds white, which I know this plant does. My understanding is scale should come off easily with soapy water and you kind of have to pry these dots off. I don’t want to gift my sister an infected plant. Can anyone tell if it’s scale or sun damage? Thank you!
