Thoughts on K-Youth?

EE fresh grad, unemployed for months now. Quit my Protege in green oil company to care for my family member for a while.

Got an offer today to join K-Youth programme. Anyone here completed the programme? Would like to know your thoughts on the programme training experience and your post-program job placement. Is it worth it? Have to respond in 24 Hours on the email.

Honestly, the 24-hour deadline to accept feels like a bit of a red flag and is making me hesitate. Since I’m based in Sabah, relocating to KL is a huge commitment and financial risk, so I really can't afford to take the leap if the job placement afterwards isn't solid.

Consider moving from Sabah to Johor, is commuting via Grab reliable for midnight shifts (11pm–8am)? How is public transport?

Hi everyone,

I’m a fresh graduate relocating from Sabah to Johor soon for a new job. My role involves shift work, specifically midnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Since I won't have my own vehicle when I first arrive, I have a few questions about the commuting situation there:

  1. Is it easy to get a Grab ride around 10:00 PM (heading to work) and 8:00 AM (heading home) in Johor? Are drivers hard to come by or prone to canceling during these hours?

  2. Generally speaking, how reliable is the public bus system for daily commuting? Do any public transit options operate late enough to be viable for shift work?

My workplace is in Kempas. Thank you in advance.
