Hi, I am about to start my PhD next semester. Also, I am thinking of getting married. On average, do you think two people can live on a PhD salary? Assuming we do not drink alcohol and do not eat out too much.

I am a bit in a desperate mental state, so I really appreciate your answer.

Edit: I dont know if it matters but future wife has a degree in pharmacology, but I dont know anything about the job market.
