Pros / cons? Things to do and not to do?

Have come into some money and looking to invest. Only have experience in buying individual shares via commsec

I pay a fortnightly fee at my gym to access the sauna, but it’s full of people who don’t stop chatting and there’s never any space to sit.

My line manager does no work and literally takes the piss.

We were both internal hires from other teams. We are in a newly created team, she has been in her position for a month longer than me. I am a SME, but she is not.

She answers emails a week later and brown noses to everyone above her. She is lazy and is only good at pretending to look busy.

I am doing my job plus hers at the moment.

Everyone in the team is aware that she does nothing, but it appears everyone above her thinks she’s doing a great job and loves her.

Could I please have some advice about how to go about this.

The general consensus in the team is that she will get found out sooner or later, but it is becoming unbearable for me.
